The reason why CS:GO crash on XP (not XP 64-bit) is because it's tries to go beyond 4GB RAM, which is not possible on 32-bit OS,
The currently fixes is use 4GB Patch from there:

At 2.30 author claims That geforce 7xx series and Titan is last videocards for Windows XP – That is incorrect! Geforce GTX 9xx series are the last, they work with windows XP. The last stable driver for them 368.81. Geforce GTX 950, 960, 970, 980, 980Ti are works with windows XP just fine. My dad actually still has Battlefield 2 and 2142 on disc for Windows XP but we use a mac now so we can't play it unfortunately.
